Allardyce rejected West Ham return
According to KUMB

Allardyce rejected West Ham return

Sam Allardyce was offered the chance to return to West Ham in the wake of Slaven Bilic's dismissal - but rejected the approach.

The 63-year-old was Hammers boss from 2011 to 2015, before leaving the club upon the expiration of a two-year contract extension signed in May 2013.

And according to a source close to Allardyce, he was contacted by West Ham shortly before Bilic was given his marching orders to gauge whether there was any interest in a potential return to the club.

"He was offered big money to return", the source told KUMB. "But he turned it down straight away."

Allardyce, who has also been linked with the vacant positions at Everton and West Bromwich Albion is currently in Dubai weighing up his options.

During his four seasons at West Ham - one in the Championship and three in the Premier League - he led the team 181 times, winning 68 (37.6%), drawing 46 and losing 67 games.

Since leaving West Ham, Allardyce has worked for Sunderland, England (briefly) and Crystal Palace - managing to keep both clubs in the Premier League during his tenure.

SAM ALLARDYCE BACKS BREXIT

We’ve always liked Big Sam.

by Westmonster November 28, 2017
Former England manager and all-round legend ‘Big’ Sam Allardyce has backed Brexit.

In a video with Paddy Power he was asked ‘Leave or Remain’ and backed the UK’s EU exit. He also picked Corbyn over May, Putin over Trump and Noel over Liam Gallagher. And picks himself as the hardest manager. Legend.

Everton have re-opened talks with Sam Allardyce. Surely the answers to these questions are enough to land him the job?

I'm not sure I believe this.

I mean, I know our owners aren't the brightest but surely they really are not this thick??? Maybe I give them too much credit.

I'd be livid. I'd probably go so far as to write them a strongly worded letter.

Correct. Everton's potential meteoric rise to their actual fall has been astounding. They must be screwing about this appointment. The problem is, no matter what you think of him, the hole they are in now means that his appointment is about the most sensible thing Kenwright can do at this time.

Won't make it easier for them to accept though.

Re: Allardyce rejected West Ham return
He won't be in charge tomorrow, he's still in Dubai.

Evertonian's can't be happy with this, they were suppose to be embarking on an exciting new dawn and now the most negative man in football is coming in to 'rescue' them.

Yeah valid point.

Shithouse 0-0 draw it is then.

We've played Allardyce twice since he left, and beat him twice without conceding a goal.

I reckon their fans are thinking the same re Moyes. Former Manager, no win yet etc etc etc.

El Scorchio 1:51 Tue Nov 28
Re: Allardyce rejected West Ham return
If he's in charge tomorrow night, they'll obviously beat us handsomely.

Wonder what the Everton fans reaction to his appointment might be. Will be interesting to see.
